Accepts conventional 0.25-in pegboard pegs as well as slotted pegboard hooks, brackets, shelves, and supplies for maximum tool storage versatility. Add wood screws about every 6” apart around the frame and on the center supports (Image 3). Great for heavy duty tool board storage needs due to their 20-gauge steel construction. With help, hold the pegboard sheet in place while you secure it to the furring strips with 2” wood screws. For wall material that is not sturdy enough use anchors where no wall studs are available. Use 2” wood screws to secure them to the wall (Image 2). Place the vertical furring strips in place with the top edge against the level line and use the level vertically to ensure that the furring strips are straight. Measure and mark the spots for the outside edges of the furring strips to correspond with the dimensions of the board. Note that the app must have first been installed to your workspace by an administrator. Using a level make a line where the top of the pegboard should sit. You will need at least two to complete the frame plus any for center supports. Measure the width of your board and cut strips to that measurement minus 3 inches.
Cut two furring strips to that measurement (Image 1). For larger boards, add furring strips for the center of the board spaced no more than 2 feet apart. You will need at least enough to make a frame under the board. However, if you have a specific measurement to fill a space the larger sheets can typically be cut to size at most home improvement centers.ĭetermine the number of furring strips you will need based on the size of your board. The sheets are commonly sold in 2’x4’, 4’x4’ and 4’x8’ sections. The bin-support bracket includes a forwardly and upwardly projecting bin-support flange portion. A bin-support bracket is spanning the support rods. A pair of support rods is provided wherein each support rod includes a top hole-engaging member and a bracket-supporting portion which extends downward from the top hole-engaging portion.
